　　The most common form of hair loss does not come from disease.In fact we can almost say it is a secondary sexual characteristic.It is called androgenetic alopecia(also known as pattern baldness)and results from a combination of genetic and hormonal(荷爾蒙的)factors.

　　There are two sorts of melanin(黑色素)present in all types of hair，in different proportions.These make it possible to get the different shades of color—blonde(or golden)，brown or red.

　　Most living things live near the surface，where the greatest PH change would be expected to occur，but deepocean life forms may be more sensitive to PH changes.

　　Coral reefs and other organisms may be particularly affected，the scientists believe.The acid in the seawater will react on their shells.It could be much more difficult to build the shells in water with a lower PH.

　　Moved beyond words，the young businessman felt no anger.He lifted the young man back into the wheelchair and took out his handkerchief and wiped the scrapers and cuts，checking to see that everything was OK.He then watched the younger brother push him down the sidewalk.
